| More Info: | The City of Burnaby, its Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department along with various organizations present Canada Day at Richmond Park on Thursday, July 1st, 2010. All festivities take place from 11:00am to 2:30pm. This fun-filled active family event includes: amazing multicultural entertainment, face painting, road hockey, parachute games, volleyball, basketball, water games, the ever-popular bingo, kids’ air guitar activities, a variety of delicious multicultural food and free Birthday cake for all! Furthermore, the Mayor of Burnaby officially opens this celebration: the last Canada Day event to be held at Eastburn before we move to our temporary location later this summer! Dress up to show your Canadian spirit and have a chance to be on next year’s poster! Be green: bring your own water bottle.
